SOYA CULTIVATION
- It is a renewable resource that can be grown organically and is naturally biodegradable.
- It does not require any pesticides and is often used to replenish soil nutrients.
- It is obtained through sustainable processes from non-genetically modified strains.
HOW IS SOYA YARN OBTAINED?
- Soy proteins are extracted from the waste from the manufacture of soymilk and tofu.
- From these proteins a manufactured organic fibre is obtained.
- This fibre is then reused to create sustainable clothing.
- The remaining material, after having its protein extracted, is reused as fertiliser.
