They, “we”, are the driving force behind Zd Zero Defects, and have been for a long time.
We were the first textile company in the region where a woman occupied a leading position in a company that had been run by men until then.
And it seems to have gone well, because we are still here after a century and, to this day, the company is still run by a woman and almost all of our staff are women.
How far we have come
Our past, our present and our future are shaped by those women who were courageous and daring. They took it upon themselves to break the established rules, while at the same time loving their work and advocating for us to be the engine that moved and moves Zd. And that has been passed down from generation to generation.
Because in our factory we have been able to work as a team. To row as one, to know our strengths and also our weaknesses, and not only in the professional field. This has undoubtedly helped us to resist in times of crisis. Because we have been a joint force for the common good.

Our sustainable business philosophy, in all areas, is synonymous with our own growth as a brand. Because we have been growing thanks to the reinvestment of our own resources and thanks to the confidence in our team, made up of a great team of women.
We are a sustainable and long-lasting company because our current assets have been based not only on an economic dimension, but also on production, operation, distribution and marketing capacity. Taking into account the environment, decent work and people management.
Thanks to all this, we have achieved sustained growth that has helped us to endure the crises that the market has suffered for more than a century.
That is why, today, we celebrate
Today, on Women’s Day, we want to celebrate the success of women entrepreneurs and workers who have been creating change in established norms and fighting against social norms.
We would like to thank and congratulate all of them for their long journey.
But it doesn’t end there. There is still a long way to go. So we continue to encourage all women who continue to fight for their dreams and continue to change our present and will continue to change our future. Because we women are the engine.
